Meet Grace!
Hi there, it’s Grace. I’m here to remind you that the best way to get through tough times is together 🧡. Stick around for gentle encouragement, a little tough love, and a lot of laughs.
Grace is my pen name, and when I step into my role as Grace, I try to be the best version of myself. I’ve spent most of my life learning from women just like you. My late Grandma Irene, my late aunt, my sister. The classmate who quietly slipped me a pad in the school bathroom the day I got my first period. The coworker who told me I deserved that raise—and made sure I believed it. The neighbor who always shoveled her elderly neighbors’ driveway, despite having so much on her own plate. These women taught me how to show up for myself and others. My advice column is my way of giving that back.
I worked for years as a counselor and advocate for women, which means I’ve sat with people through some of life’s hardest moments. I’m not a doctor or a lawyer, and I’ll always tell you when I’m not sure what the answer is. But I know how to listen, and I know that women supporting each other through life’s messy stuff is sometimes more important than having all the answers. I don’t promise to always get it right. What I do promise is this: I’ll learn from my mistakes, I’ll always be straight with you, and I’ll never judge you.
Women from all over the country send me their questions, and I answer them the same way I’d talk to a friend at my kitchen table—honestly, warmly, and without a lot of fluff.
