My days can be ROUGH- I’m a caregiver of a medically complex kiddo and support person for my dad battling lung cancer. For me after or during a tough day- fresh air fixes almost everything so a nice walk with my dogs ( two over the top Golden-doodles) is the best and fastest way to “reset” my glimmer !
Growth is a lonely place! Even though l am at my lowest struggling in my life. God’s success is the Greatest to have Peace of Mind each Day with His Glory!
Hi,. I turn on gospel or jazz and sit so I can relax.
Any random call or text from my grandbabies. Even tho they are 18 and 20 yes old, they still check in just to tell me they love me. I am so very lucky!
The only way I can get my day right is to watch SOAP. S in SOAP stands for scripture. O stands for Observation. A stands for application. P stands for prayer. SOAP is a Bible study my church has everyday of the week. We meet online. One of our pastors teaches everyday. There are five pastors at my church. Everyone is involved in a discussion on the book of the Bible we study. After this I listen to worship music and I pray. No other way to start the day out right.
Sometimes just seeing the sun shining outside can make my day!

I have to second those already written, hugging my dog, looking up at the night sky and seeing all the starts, sitting and watching the waves on Lake Michigan, all bring me to my happy place! I would like to add, holding a newborn baby in my arms (I have 10 grandkids).
I always look forward to spending some time with my baby Bear in the morning. He’s my 3 y.o. pomeranian Yorkie poo. He is full of morning kisses and snuggles and a great way to start my day 💕. Everyone calls him my velcro dog because he’s always by me. He has helped me get through a great deal in his short time on earth. We both love each other unconditionally ❤️. He always knows what I need at the exact moment
Coming home to my pets… unconditional love… regardless of what kind of day I’ve had…no judgement ❤️🐾❤️

First and foremost you have to look over the things that you were accountable for and look over the things that he was accountable for that he might have never been or said anything you have to be able to look within yourself love yourself enough to say to your ex-husband that you forgive him first and foremost because if you don’t forgive him he will always have control over you and then you have to tell your hood ex husband to say You release him with love and move on
The one thing I can count on to make my day better is seeing the smiling faces of my children. If it wasn’t for them I really don’t know where I would be.
I have many glimmers throughout my day. My two sons and their amazingly funny personalities. My partner Landa and his selfless love and support. My cat Macaroni and his furry cuddles. Finally…making sure I’m taking the time to be thankful for all of this and more, even in the midst of the busiest or darkest moments, keeps me reminded that life is good and I can and will overcome any and every hurdle.
I have birdfeeders on my back porch that I can watch from my kitchen. In the summer I have several humming bird feeders and in the winter there are feeders for the wild birds. My daily glimmer is to watch these birds as they appear and name and learn about them.

My glimmer is looking up at the stars in the sky, watching the sunset, and having a fire in the back yard. There is something about the peacefulness of the evening and the day coming to an end that brings me peace.
I know it’s not always best to rely on our spouses/partners, but I feel I can always count on my husband to help me feel better or understand things from a different perspective. I always look forward to him coming home from work.
